To all those reading this that do not know Sherry: She has a big heart, is fair but tough. I have seen her in Sunday School debates . . . hmmm. . . it would be very interesting to see Sherry in a good political debate. I am sure that Sherry could hold her own against any of the political insiders. Hey Sherry - give us an idea on where you stand on some of the hot topics that are swirling around in the news today.

Thanks for your comment, miccline. It's very difficult to address all issues on a blogspot but let me give you my general philosophy: Government should help people who need help and then otherwise leave us alone.
I know that's a terribly broad statement but it really is my general philosophy. I have been involved in children's issues, public education, etc. I think we have to balance consumer rights with a good working environment in the state.
Finally, without getting into a myriad of issues -- not knowing exactly what you're interested in -- I will tell you that my belief is that most citizens are concerned about issues but just as concerned about what kind of people they have representing them. They seem to want "real" people. I hope that's what I offer.
I can ditto mccline's comments. I've had the pleasure of working with Sherry on our church council. She is absolutely tireless. This woman knows how to get things done!
I'm so excited to see the number of members of the Grassroots Gang growing so quickly. We're off to a great start. Thanks for spreading the word. Keep it up!
